Portland International Airport (PDX) – PDX is a major airport with many daily flight options all over the country. To reach Corvallis from Portland International Airport (PDX), catch the Groome Transportation shuttle or rent a car and drive. The easiest route is straight south on I-5, taking exit 234B to head through Albany and reach Corvallis via HWY 20, or take exit 228 to reach Corvallis via OR-34.
Eugene Airport (EUG) – EUG is a small, regional airport with many west coast flight options and flight routes that pass through nearby airport hubs, such as PDX and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). To reach Corvallis from Eugene Airport, drive along Peoria Road or OR-99/OR-99W.
Transportation to/from and around Corvallis
Shuttle – Groome Transportation (formerly the HUT Shuttle and Oregon Express Shuttle) is available between Portland International Airport, Albany, Corvallis, and Eugene (does NOT stop at Eugene Airport). This shuttle could be used to get to/from PDX as well as for daily transportation between Corvallis and Albany.
Train – Amtrak is also available between Portland, Albany, and Eugene, though it does not stop in Corvallis and one would need to arrange transportation from Albany to Corvallis if taking the Amtrak.
Taxis and ridesharing services – Multiple taxi services as well as Uber and Lyft are available in Corvallis.
Car rentals – Hertz and Enterprise both have offices in Corvallis, or there are many options in Portland.
City buses – Corvallis Transit System includes a free busing system with regular routes throughout town and the Linn-Benton Loop has regularly-scheduled free buses between Albany and Corvallis (including OSU).
